Introduction to MoNET
The Laboratory of Molecular Neuroimaging Technology (MoNET) is an advanced neuroimaging lab that performs brain research through the use and development of multimodal and computational neuroimaging technologies, founded in 2004. Researchers at MoNET are aiming at combining neuronal theory, neuroimaging technologies and clinical data to understand human brain in multiple levels from structure, function to behaviors.
MoNET is part of the Department of Nuclear Medicine, Radiology, Psychiatry, Yonsei University College of Medicine at Severance Hospital, Seoul, Republic of Korea. MoNET is also affiliated with the Severance Biomedical Science Institute, the Department of Biomedical Science and Engineering at Yonsei University College of Medicine and the Brain Korea 21 Plus Project for Medical Science.
MoNET has participated in multidisciplinary collaboration with teams of Psychiatry, Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Rehabilitation at Yonsei University College of Medicine for clinical research, and teams of Neurolinguistics, Communication and Education for applied neuroscience research.
The mission of MoNET is to contribute to improving our knowledge on the brain through development of neuroimaging and computational techniques, and to expand our understanding of human mind and to enhance mental health.
