A journey into the brain,
on the Island of Mind
A game-based cognitive-neuropsychological assessment that builds an integrated profile from attention to emotion regulation and social communication, and returns objective feedback about you.
What does it measure?
Part of the Ministry of Science and ICT-funded project "Evaluation of mobile-web and VR-based cognitive-neuropsychological assessment", developed at Yonsei University College of Medicine to assess cognitive control, emotion, sociality and self-awareness in adolescents and university students.
Cognitive control is the ability to regulate thought and behaviour to fit the situation. It is hard to judge one's own difficulties objectively, and formal assessment requires visiting a specialist. BrainYonsei lets you explore cognitive control, emotion, sociality and self-awareness through a mobile-web game.
Which tests are included?
Cognitive ability
N-Back, Go/No-Go and Wisconsin Card Sorting tasks probe attention, response inhibition, working memory, executive function and cognitive flexibility.
Emotional ability
Emotional Stroop and related tasks probe emotion regulation and recognition.
Sociality and self-awareness
Questionnaires and tasks on social communication and self-perception.
